Michalis Karagiannis

Michalis Karagiannis began his journey in 2011, when—encouraged by Christos Kavrakos—he attended his first coffee seminar. After gaining hands-on experience and immersing himself in the craft, he took a defining step by joining the team at Tailor Made, a milestone that shaped his professional path. It was there that he poured his first tulips and discovered his passion for Latte Art, which soon became his main focus.

Determined to perfect his technique, Michalis attended numerous training sessions and actively participated in competitions, aiming for excellence and recognition:

• Greek Latte Art Champion – 2016, 2017 & 2018
• 2nd Place – World Latte Art Championship – 2017 & 2018
• 8th Place – World Latte Art Championship – 2016
• Top 16 – World Latte Art Battle (Korea) – 2016

His passion led him to South Korea in 2016, the birthplace of competitive latte art, where he spent 15 days training alongside some of the world’s leading latte artists.

Today, Michalis is recognized not only for his competition achievements but for his dedication to the craft and his commitment to sharing knowledge with the next generation of baristas.
