Γιώργος Δεληχρήστος

George Delichristos is the Founder and General Manager of Novelty Coffee Roasters. He has been crowned Greek National Champion in two different coffee championships: roasting (2018) and filter coffee (2024). When he's not competing, he dedicates his time as a judge in national coffee championships across Europe, while also sharing his knowledge and experience by helping baristas from different countries prepare for their competitions.

His journey in coffee began at the age of just 17, at Greece’s first micro roastery. Since then, he has followed an exciting path through key roles in coffee shops and specialty roasteries, including Head Barista, Head Coffee Roaster, Chief of Operations, and Head of Sales in the EU at the boutique farm Panama Ninety Plus Gesha Estates.

His passion for coffee has taken him to producing countries around the world, where he has actively participated in innovative cultivation and processing methods. There, he also developed his own unique coffee processing method, which he now applies exclusively to select coffees at Novelty Coffee Roasters.
