Panagiotis Vitalis

Panagiotis Vitalis began his journey as a barista in 2012, working for a major multinational coffee company. Driven by a desire to grow in the then-emerging barista profession, he attended specialized coffee seminars, worked in cafés and micro-roasteries, and actively participated in coffee exhibitions and competitions.

In 2015, he traveled to Ethiopia — the birthplace of Arabica — to witness firsthand the cultivation of coffee trees. That same year, he began working as an instructor for Bar Academy Greece, training baristas in coffee shops and coffee companies.

In 2016, he won 1st place in the Hellenic Cup Tasters Championship and went on to represent Greece at the World Cup Tasters Championship in Shanghai.

With an ongoing passion for coffee, he has led countless tasting sessions and continued to evolve through hands-on experience as both a barista and barista trainer. Today, he shares his knowledge and passion as a Barista Trainer at Bar Academy Athens, believing that proper education is the cornerstone of a successful professional journey.

His deeper goal is to help transform coffee service into a meaningful experience and foster genuine human connections through every cup.
